DUPE ALERT! DUPE ALERT!

Hello beautifuls! This post was originally supposed to be about my new additions to my lippies collection, but while putting the post together, I found that one color I already own happens to be a dupe for 2 colors I had bought this season. Don’t you just love it when you find a cheaper dupe? I know I do! So of course, I HAD to share. This season has been all about the corals, and as you know if you’re an avid reader of my blog, that last month in my CooCoo for Coral post I was so happy to announce that I had found my “perfect coral” shade. Well scratch that, because that shade has been sealed, shipped, and RETURNED! Why? Because well, duh, I found a cheaper dupe! What is it you may ask? Revlon’s Coralberry. But before I get to swatches and pictures, I wanted to share my new love for M.A.C’s Costa Chic. Now I think THIS is my perfect shade ever! SO excited to be able to wear this out soon.

So I came across M.A.C’s Costa Chic and Vegas Volt online when I was looking up more coral shades. I ended up ordering both because they both looked gorgeous. When I took them out of the box and swatched them I thought, “hm, where have I seen this color before?” And low and behold, it reminded me of illamasqua’s Brink and Revlon’s Coralberry. When I found that Revlon’s Coralberry was an almost exact dupe for Brink, I returned it immediately (No need for a $22 lipstick when I can get it for $7.99). Now, I think I’m going to have to do the same with Vegas Volt. I’m torn though, because I love the name of it so much. Decisions, decisions. Here are some pics!

Oh yeah, I also found that Wet n’ Wild’s 903C (Just Peachy) could be a good match for Costa Chic. Although Costa Chic has a frosty finish, Just Peachy is a great matte counterpart, and much more affordable. (swatches below)
