Brown Smokey Eye D/S makeup!
Hey girls! Hope you all had a great holiday weekend. I know I did! With all of the BBQs, family, friends, and not to mention perfect weather! I put together a look on Saturday night using drug store makeup (for the most part), and created a brown smokey eye using ALL drug store makeup. I wanted to share it with you girls because I know many of you are just getting started with makeup, and investing in brands like MAC, INGLOT, and other higher end products just doesn’t seem worth it just yet. Also, lately, I’ve been realizing that drugstore makeup brands have really stepped up their game, and creating looks with them can actually be quite easy and fun.
So here is what I used for the WHOLE look:
What I am wearing:
- Yellow bandeau from Target
- Off white off the shoulder top from Target
- High waist, wide leg jeans from F21 (4 years old)
- H&M Fedora
- Michael Kors Watch
- Earrings F21
- Heaband H&M
Eyes:
- L’Oreal Paris Wear Infinite Star Secrets Quad in Aishwarya Greens
- Olay & Covergirl Concealer
- Jordana Black Eyeshadow
- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
- L’Oreal Intense in Liquid Pencil Liner in Black
- L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black
Face:
- Revlon PhotoReady Foundation in 005 Natural Beige
- Olay & Covergirl Concealer
- MAC Surf Baby! SkinSheen Bronzer Stick in Tan Tint
Lips:
- MAC Lipliner in In Synch
- MAC Costa Chic lipstick
- MAC Creme d’Nude lipstick
(Step 1: Apply tape on outer corners, and primer to entire lid – I used my concealer)
(Step 2: Take your NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk and apply to inner corner of eye – smudge w/ finger)
(Step 3: Take #2 from Aishwarya Palette (pictured above) and apply to entire lid into brow bone)
(Step 4: Take #3 and apply on the outer 3/4 of lid with #4 in the crease and blend)
(Step 5: Take ANY black shadow and apply to the outer V blending inwards)
-after blending add more black and blend, more black and blend, till you reach desired color)
(Step 6: Blend! Blend! BLEND!)
(Step 7: Upper lash line and waterline with L’Oreal Liquid Pencil Liner, and smudge on the water line)
What is your favorite drugstore look?
