10 Days of Beauty – Day 6: Nars Galapagos
Sorry for the ever so long hiatus, I’ve been so busy with this thing called life. But I’m excited to be back and better than ever!
I purchased Nars Galapagos at least year’s Sephora’s Friends and Family Sale. It was an instant love connection, as I am completely obsessed with brown shadows, and the hint of gold flecks just took me over the top. I haven’t used it quite as much as I would like to, but I think that’s because I’m always reaching for palettes. I recently used this at my cousin’s wedding, and remembered why I bought it in the first place.
Pros: It’s extremely pigmented, and the gold flecks are way too pretty to pass up.
Cons: Expensive, can be hard to blend, and a little bit of fall out.
If it weren’t for the Sephora Friends and Family sale, I don’t think I’d catch myself buying this shadow, only because it is way too expensive for my taste. It retails at about $24.00, and is quite small. I do however, think the pros outweigh the cons, if you can find it on sale, or for a cheaper price.
Nars Galapagos can be purchased at Sephora, Nars.com, Bloomingdales, Beauty.com, and other fine retailers with a Nars Counter.
